Benjamin has helped build a portfolio of creative and tech companies since graduating from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

After graduating in 2003 with a BFA in Art and Marketing from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC), Ben went on to start a leading digital marketing and technology firm in Chicago, The Killswitch Collective. Clients included Etsy, Viacom, Nike, Groupon, as well many others and primarily focused on early social networking platforms built on Ruby on Rails. Killswitch also created brand identities and executed marketing strategies for its clients. In 2011 Ben sold that firm to build Food & Beverage brand, Finch's Beer Co. while staying close to his roots in technology with side projects and other consulting engagements.

In 2011 Ben sold Killswitch to build Food & Beverage brand, Finch's Beer Co. Finch’s distributed to 21 states over his 6 year tenure. Ben successfully implemented a management team and sold the business in 2016 to his investor group. The business produced approximately 10,000 barrels per year in beer in 2016 and was Illinois' 5th largest brewery that year.

After experimenting and building brands in the Food and Beverage space for nearly 6 years, Ben was introduced to Blockchain and Cryptocurrency in 2016 with the advent of his brother Robert’s 1st business, ICO Alert, and then co-founding together Cypherglass, an EOS Block Producer.

In 2017 Ben founded one of the first multidisciplinary agencies to specialize in blockchain marketing and software development, The Ledger Agency. Ben’s Ledger Agency specializes in technology-driven marketing, strategic project planning, social media, community building and software development.

From 2022 to 2023 Ben lead a team at Micro Focus, now OpenText. His team handled the Application Modernization (AMC) and Information Management & Governance (IMG) field marketing portfolios for all of North America and International regions worldwide. Ben’s team generated nearly 70M in pipeline and 14M in revenues for over 100 sales executives across the two product groups.

Currently Ben is Director of Demand Generation at AveriSource. The AveriSource Platform™ has analyzed over two billion lines of code and eliminates the time, risk, and cost constraints of modernization—all in one unified solution. Utilized by Fortune 500 companies around the globe, AveriSource is recognized as an AWS Migration and Modernization Competency Partner.
